Just wow, I knew straight away that this restaurant was going to slap as soon as the lady over the phone had an Italian accent 😂, and we were right, amazing service, energetic vibes and of course, phenomenal food. Will be back again!

I am in love with the gnocchi with pesto and burrata. Its sooo good, with plenty of pesto, and comes inside a pizza dough.. perfect! The service is also super nice!
Via Napoli never misses. Their wood-fired pizzas are delicious, but the pasta dishes are the real stars — rich, comforting, and packed with flavour. The vibe is warm and perfect for friends or family outings.
If you meet Antonella, you’re in great hands. She treats you like an old friend and always knows the best dishes to recommend for the whole table. A must-visit when you’re in Surry Hills.

Absolutely incredible experience! I had my 30th birthday party here last night and EVERYTHING was done perfectly!
All the staff were amazing but I'd like to give a special bravissima to our amazing host/manager Valentina! She did a really good job in ensuring that myself and all my guests has a great night!

I hate Slurry Hills as an area, but i love Via Napoli!
Could not recommend enough. Valentina Really made us feel very welcome and could not had a better time. The food was amazing. Would recommend to anyone
They are great in service. Pizza was tasty but I think Lane Cove one is slightly better for myself. It was very noisy that the sound was resonating throughout my 1 hour dining time.
Delicious pizza and arancini, lovely wine and great atmosphere. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I will return - thank you!
Italian food is definitely not my go to and I don't really like it apart from pizza but the pizza here is top notch with fresh ingredients.
Very friendly and lovely service even when it gets so busy, its one reason why Surry Hills has amazing food.
edit: I will say after reading some other reviews that yes they don't tell you that the water handed out to you is $8 hence why I always say at any restaurant tap water so it would be good if they could ask if you want tap water.

This is a great restaurant. The staff was so friendly, warm hearted and authentic. A little trip to Italy 🇮🇹

Went for a spontaneous stroll around the neighbourhood last night and decided to stop here for dinner, the food and vibes were amazing! We got a table right away, and the waitress was so kind and welcoming. The food and drinks were excellent, we ordered pizza and pasta, and both were spot on. The staff were attentive, friendly, and quick. 100% recommend, and we’ll definitely be coming back soon!
When you say Pizza, Via Napoli is a place to try if you haven’t already. Lovely food, friendly staff, vast variety of pizzas, pastas, anti-pasta with an interesting type of pizza—deep-fried pizza called Pizza Fritta which comes from Naples regions of Italy. They also have umpteen Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free options which I haven’t seen in many Italian places!

Food is 5 stars but the staff are 20. Never seen so many amazing waiters and waitresses all in 1 place. 😍
